I am currently a Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at the University of Bristol. Previously I was an Assistant Professor at the MCMP (2012-2015) and a doctoral student at the Centre for Time, University of Sydney (2008-2012).
Research Interests
My research is principally within the philosophy of physics, with a particular emphasis on time and symmetry in classical and quantum theories of gravity. I also work on scientific anti-realism, probability in quantum mechanics, and methodological issues arising from the use of analogue models in physical and social science.
