Further Information

I am a doctoral student, formerly in the now-cancelled Emmy Noether Project New Territories for Modal Logic, supervised by Ivano Ciardelli, now in Padua. I studied for my MA in Logic and Philosophy of Science at the MCMP, LMU Munich. While in Munich I also completed a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Oslo. Before coming to Munich, I did a BA in Philosophy and Linguistics at the University of Oslo. The year 2022/23 I'm spending at UC Berkeley and MIT on a Fulbright scholarship.

Research Interests

I am interested in conditionals, modals and modality, probability, questions, inquisitive semantics, and related topics in philosophy of language, formal semantics, philosophical logic, and formal epistemology. For my dissertation I have been working on inquisitive modalities. These are modalities which apply to question meanings, unlike more traditional modalities from modal logic and intensional semantics which apply in the first place to (declarative) propositions.

I am also interested in topics in normative ethics and the philosophy of mathematics.
