I am working on my PhD-project concerning rational group belief under the supervision of Prof. DDr. Hannes Leitgeb. My doctoral thesis is funded by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation(Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes).
I studied philosophy and mathematics at HU, Berlin and LMU, Munich and I received an M.A. in philosophy from LMU, Munich. Before that, I obtained a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Physics at KAIST in South Korea.
My research interest lies in the application of formal methods to problems in philosophy. I am interested in formal epistemology (belief representation, (non)Bayesianism, supposition/learning, causal reasoning), logic (mathematical logic, nonmonotonic reasoning, dynamic epistemic logic), social epistemology (judgment aggregation, opinion pooling, consensus formation), decision theory, and formal ethics.
My doctoral project focuses on the application of belief binarization methods and epistemic decision theory to the aggregation of beliefs. I am currently working on causal structure preservation in belief aggregation.
