I serve as an associate editor of the European Journal for Philosophy of Science.
I previously held visiting professorships at the University of Vienna and Ghent University, and postdoc positions at Ghent University and Ruhr-University Bochum.
My research topics include epistemic and methodological aspects of scientific inquiry, with a special emphasis on the context of scientific diversity. While my PhD research focused on the evaluation of scientific theories, and in particular the assessment of their pursuit worthiness, during my postdoc research I have tackled issues concerning methodological and epistemic aspects of scientific disagreements.
My current research focuses on agent-based modeling of scientific inquiry and the question of its epistemic function.
