Practical Representations and Abilities
02.07.2024 09:30 – 18:30
https://www.cas.lmu.de/de/veranstaltungen/veranstaltung/practical-representations-and-abilities.html
Idea & Motivation
The workshop will address, in various ways, the question of what exactly distinctively practical representation of action amounts to. Issues here include: how practical representation relates to ability, practical knowledge and practical reasoning; the relationship between practical, perceptual and linguistic representation; and the relationship between personal and sub-personal practical representation.
