Casual Socials Series on Philosophy of Science -- Virtual @ the MCMP

24.01.2022

The pandemic has not only claimed too many lives, it has also caused severe disruptions to our conference calendars over the last two years. What is going to happen this Summer is anyone's guess. While some conferences were held in virtual space and/or hybrid formats, we have met fewer philosophers of science socially.

You are hereby invited to join our first ever series of casual socials organised around topics in the philosophy of science. While these gatherings are organised around different topics, there is absolutely no agenda, no topic too outlandish to be discussed nor is there a pre-determined end of a meeting. Interested philosophers at any level of seniority from around the world are welcome, including grad students.

Philosophy of Medicine: 7 March 2022 @ 16:00 Central European Time, organised by Juergen Landes (juergen_landes@yahoo.de).

Philosophy of Math & Logic: 14 March 2022 @ 16:00 Central European Time, organised by William D’Alessandro (d.william@lmu.de).

Formal Epistemology: 21 March 2022 @ 16:00 CET, organised by Juergen Landes (juergen_landes@yahoo.de).

Attendance is free, but registration is required. In order to register, send an email to the organiser of the social you want to join. An email with login details will be distributed the day(s) before the meeting.
We will likely use a platform such as GatherTown or Spatial Chat.

Hope to see you soon!
