Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) restrictions at LMU Munich and the MCMP

At LMU Munich and therefore also at the MCMP there are still restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic. Current information can be found on the following website: https://www.en.uni-muenchen.de/news/press-services/corona_information/index.html
Our building is still closed to the public and we might work from home, so please contact us preferably via e-mail or phone.

Furthermore it is now compulsory to wear a face mask in all LMU buildings, not only when entering and leaving any lecture halls and conference rooms, but also in all areas where people meet or come into contact with others. This applies in particular to corridors, stairways, elevators and toilets. This rule is part of the mandatory guidelines for infection control at LMU, as agreed upon with the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts and the Bavarian State Ministry of Health. Please be sure to comply with the rule.

You can find the announcement on the following website:

If you have just returned from a COVID19-risk area, you must place yourself in domestic quarantine for 14 days after entering Bavaria and are obliged to inform the responsible district administrative authority. You have access to the premises of LMU including Ludwigstraße 31 only if you have a medical certificate in German or English confirming that there is no evidence of infection with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and present this certificate to the (our) MCMP administration.
