The project is coordinated by Maria Kronfeldner (Central European University, Vienna), Martin Kusch (University of Vienna), and Alexander Reutlinger (LMU Munich).
Our "Socially Engaged Philosophy" project addresses questions such as: How does philosophy matter for some of today's core social and political issues? What can philosophy say about issues where science and politics interact? "Socially Engaged Philosophy" is for everyone who is interested in these questions.
Current videos are conversations between Heather Douglas, Maria Kronfeldner, Martin Kusch, Veli Mitova, David Ludwig, Alexander Reutlinger, Günther Sandner, on topics such as ...
'Science, Criticism, Skepticism'
'Values in Science'
'Why Philosophers Care about Dehumanization'
'Another Science is Possible'
'Why Relativism Does Not Undermine Science'
'Otto Neurath and Expertise in Democracy'
'Epistemic Decolonization and Epistemic Injustice'
'Exploring the Space of Scientific Freedom and Responsibility'
And more videos are to appear soon.
