Inclusivity Workshop

The theme of the workshop is inclusivity in teaching and beyond, and it is open to all faculty members of the MCMP (fellows, postdocs, assistant professors, professors). The workshop will be followed by an optional lunch at a nearby restaurant.
The workshop will be given by Dr. Anna Welpinghus from the Society for Women in Philosophy (SWIP) Germany. Their seminars discuss structural injustice and best practices, designed specifically for institutions of academic philosophy. The workshop will also provide room to share and discuss our teaching experiences and practices. Thus, it aims to offer guidance on how to promote an inclusive environment both inside and outside the classroom—especially to support minorities in philosophy.
