LMU - MCMP
Lehrstuhl für Logik und Sprachphilosophie
I am doctoral fellow at MCMP under the supervision of Hannes Leitgeb and Martin Fischer, since September 2022. Before the start of my doctoral studies, I completed an MA in Philosophy at University of Lisbon, followed by an extended - two year - Logic Year at the ILLC, at the university of Amsterdam, where I focused on the topics Mathematical Logic and Logic and Computation.
I am mainly interested in Philosophy of Mathematics and in the application of mathematical methods and results to the solution of philosophical problems. In particular, I am interested in the topic of mathematical structuralism, which my dissertation is about. Here I argue for non-eliminative structuralism, as well as providing an adequate mathematical formulation of structures according to this perspective.
More generally, I am also interested in the philosophy of set theory, and formal epistemology (in particular in the application of topological semantics to epistemic logic).
