Further Information
I am a doctoral fellow at the MCMP, working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stephan Hartmann. Having studied political sciences at the Hochschule für Politik München (diploma) and philosophy at the LMU München (master), my main interests are epistemology and artificial intelligence. Working in the realms of conceptual design and the application of machine learning allows me to gain a theoretical as well as practical perspective on philosophical methods and artificial intelligence.
Research Interests
As part of my master thesis, I investigated to which extent artificial intelligence is capable of developing a mind. My PhD dissertation represents a continuation of my master thesis and focuses on inferences. The aim is to study abductive inferences from both a philosophical and computational perspective to determine how artificial intelligence can be improved in reasoning.
