Catrin did her PhD at the MCMP with Hannes Leitgeb. She is now a research fellow in Cambridge and will be starting a lectureship in Bristol in September 2016. She works on philosophical logic (particularly liar paradox and probability logics) and formal epistemology (particularly degrees of belief and accuracy). The topic of her thesis was self-referential probabilities; which are sentences which talk about the probability of themselves. Studying these can help one understand situations where an outcome depends on an agent's confidence in that very outcome.
