Further Information

I am a Lecturer at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science of the University of the Republic. I did my PhD in Philosophy of Cognitive Science under the supervision of Stephan Hartmann and Max Kistler at the MCMP and at the IHPST (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University). I studied Philosophy, Logic, and Cognitive Science at the University of the Republic, the University of Paris 1, the University of Paris 4 Sorbonne, and at LMU.

Research Interests

I research on the foundations of cognitive science; with focus on theories of concepts (mainly conceptual spaces) and theories of reasoning. Other research interests are Social Epistemology, Non-classical logics (particularly nonmonotonic and relevant logics), General Philosophy of Science (particularly conceptual change and scientific rationality), and Philosophy of Language (particularly inferentialism).
