Further Information

Focusing my research on epistemology and the question of how insights from philosophy of science can be used to improve artificial intelligence, I completed my doctorate at the MCMP under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stephan Hartmann. In addition to my philosophical endeavours, I completed a diploma in political science at the Hochschule für Politik in Munich. Alongside my academic activities, which include conducting and publishing research as well as giving lectures, I am an entrepreneur and founder, putting theoretical research findings into practice, particularly in the field of AI and robotics.

Research Interests

My research interests cover all aspects of epistemology and artificial intelligence. My focus centres on inferences, particularly abduction and the creation of theoretical concepts, the development of scientific theories, the foundational principles of intelligence, and the conceptual understanding of algorithms and artificial intelligence. Overall, my research goal is to understand how we can apply insights from epistemology to artificial intelligence to develop algorithms that are more performant than current ones.
