Rush Stewart completed a PhD (2017) in philosophy at Columbia University with a dissertation on aggregating probabilities, preferences, and full beliefs. He was a visiting fellow at the MCMP in the summer of 2015, a Junior Researcher in Residence at the Center for Advanced Studies at LMU in the Winter Semester 2020/21, and an assistant professor at the MCMP from the fall of 2017 until the spring of 2022.
Research Interests
Rush is interested in decision theory, formal and social epistemology, moral and political philosophy, philosophy of the social sciences, and American pragmatism.
